Our focus is on sourcing comfortable, sustainable, and timeless garments, perfectly suited for the hot, hotter, and hottest days in Namma Chennai.

Founded in 1996 by Asha Nawalgaria and Vidya, MAAHIKHAS leveraged their collective experience with various designers from Delhi, Kolkata, and across India to present their first collection. Over the past three decades, MAAHIKHAS has built a reputation for pampering its clients, many of whom have become friends and family. We’ve had the privilege of styling multiple generations within households.

Asha and Vidya began their journey with a textile diploma and an innate love for colors and beauty. Initially relying on friends with extensive textile expertise, they soon honed their unique style, independently sourcing garments from authentic block printers, dyers, and weavers. As MAAHIKHAS evolved, a budget-friendly collection of natural cottons, tussars, and silk chanderis was introduced for those who value both comfort and style.
